Sinosauropterx prima

This was the first confirmed specimen of a "feathered"
dinosaur, found in Liaoning Province, China in 1996. I was
fortunate to be one of the first North Americans to view the
specimen in the company of Dr. Philip Currie, while visiting
Beijing, one month after its discovery.
